Vi søker en utadvendt, selvstendig og proaktiv kollega med helsefaglig bakgrunn som får ansvaret for produkt og tilhørende kirurgiske prosedyrer i Normedi Norge. Vi ser gjerne at du har utdannelse som operasjonssykepleier, og gjerne med erfaring eller interesse for gynekologi. Stillingen har det operative ansvaret for klinisk support, undervisning, implementering og optimalisering i bruk av våre produkter og løsninger på sykehus i Norge.

Stillingen har ansvar for hele vår produktportefølje og vil jobbe med gynekologer, sykepleiere og annet helsepersonell. Du vil bruke mesteparten av tiden din hos våre trivelige kunder på operasjonsavdelinger/klinikker. Du har evne til å bygge positive og langsiktige relasjoner basert på profesjonalitet og sterk faglig kompetanse. Stillingen vil kreve god og tett dialog med salgsapparatet. Vi legger til rette for at du våger å tenke nytt og planlegge ditt arbeid utifra et helhetsperspektiv. Du er strukturert og setter pris på å jobbe aktivt med et CRM-system for å optimalisere ditt resultat.

Stillingen innebærer mye reiseaktivitet. Våre kunder/sykehus ligger i hele landet, men med tyngdepunkt på Østlandet, Stavanger, Bergen og Trondheim.  Du har hjemmekontor som base og rapporterer til salgssjef i Norge. Normedi Nordic har hovedkontor i Tønsberg og har 13 ansatte i Norden. Vi og våre leverandører bruker engelsk som arbeidsspråk og derfor må du kommunisere godt på engelsk både muntlig og skriftlig.

Hologic Partnership in Finland

We are proud to announce that Hologic has selected Normedi as the new distributor for the complete Hologic GYN Surgical Solutions portfolio on the Finnish market. Since 2018, Normedi has been the distributor in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. From the 4th of July 2020, Normedi will be exclusive Hologic GYN distributor in all Nordic countries. The agreement encompasses the NovaSure, MyoSure and Aquilex product ranges. All Normedi employees are trained and certified by Hologic, and we are looking forward to serving and supporting our customers throughout the Nordic region.

New Office-Based Hysteroscopy Department at Østfold Hospital Moss

We congratulate Østfold Hospital Moss for their initiation of Office-Based Hysteroscopy Department. They have moved the hysteroscopy procedure from the outpatient surgical center to the office setting, completing their first three procedures this week. By moving hysteroscopy to the office setting, patients can undergo the procedure under local anesthesia and return home the same day. This reduces waiting times for the patient and frees up the outpatient surgical center for other more demanding procedures. Østfold Hospital Moss are using the MyoSure hysteroscopic tissue removal suite and Aquilex fluid control system for the removal of uterine polyps and fibroids. The team at Normedi wish Dr. Zelalem Mengistu and his dedicated staff good luck with their new Office-Based Hysteroscopy Department!

Medtech4Health Innovation Award

Normedi congratulates the Winner of the 2020 Medtech4Health Innovation Award – Helsingborg lasarett! They receive the award for setting up a gentle and effective method to descry uterus cancer and treat benign changes in uterus.

The department for office hysteroscopy at Helsingborg Hospital are using MyoSure for removal of uterine polyps and myomas. They use all MyoSure sizes and models as well as the Aquilex hysteroscopic pump, that is specifically designed for use together with the MyoSure system.

”A well-deserved award”, says Jesper Steffenssen, the Normedi country manager for Sweden, who has worked closely with the team at Helsingborg Hospital. ”They have developed a state-of-the-art office department with outstanding technical skills and ardent engagement for implementing new technology to improve patient safety and access to care.”


The Medtech4Health Innovation Award is intended for everyone who works on developing and implementing innovative medical technology in healthcare. Through the Medtech4Health Innovation Award, we want to highlight good examples of the healthcare profession actively participating in the development and introduction of new technology, which leads to significant improvements in healthcare, and to new medical technology reaching the market. The prize of SEK 100,000 will be awarded to a workgroup, clinic or similar.

Normedi Digital In-service Training

Normedi has moved support, educational activities and presence in the OR to digital platforms to ensure safe use of our instruments. Last week we organized a successful digital in-service training with nurses and gynaecologist at Lillehammer Hospital in Norway. The feedback from the surgical team after the sessions is that they now feel confident using ttheir new Aquilex® Fluid Management System.

Normedi and the Covid-19 Outbreak

Dear Customers and Partners,
Normedi Nordic is keeping focus on the safety of patients, doctors, nurses, hospital staff and our own employees. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and we are fully committed to ensure stable supply and delivery of all the needed equipment to our customers and to keep supporting hospitals.

Our warehouse in Malmö, Sweden, is well prepared for the situation and we are able to supply our customers with products as normal. We might experience some delays in delivery for non-stocked products, but most of our suppliers have confirmed supply with no or small interruptions to production and freight.

Following the most recent governmental guidelines, we have decided to minimize all person-to-person meetings with hospital staff, and all Normedi employees are requested to work from their homes until further notice.  We have moved support, educational activities and presence in the OR to digital platforms to ensure safe use of our instruments and will remain available at any time.

Organizational Changes and Strengthening of the Team

We are pleased to announce that Kaitlin Nordenskiöld recently gave birth to a little boy and that all is well with mother, baby and family. Kaitlin is now on parental leave and we are happy to welcome Erik Corsman to the Normedi Team as Territory Manager with responsibility for the region of Stockholm and Sweden North. Erik comes from a position as Senior Commercial Analyst at Johnson & Johnson and has during his successful period at J&J gained substantial understanding of the MedTech industry.

In Norway, Odd Lund has decided to leave us for challenges outside of Normedi, and we would like to thank Odd for his dedicated work and contribution to the success of Normedi Norway.

We are very pleased to announce that Paul Essebaggers has joined us as Country Manager Norway. Paul comes from a position as a highly successful Territory & Product Manager at Olympus Norway, and he has massive experience from the field of gynecological surgery.

We are also happy to announce that Maria Esberg has joined us to support and strengthen our Nordic customer service due to incremental growth of incoming orders, customer support needs and other back office tasks. Maria has significant administrative and customer service experience and previously had similar responsibilities while working for Viessmann Refrigeration Systems. She is native Swedish, masters Norwegian fluently and understands Finnish verbally and in written.

Normedi Nordic is continuing supporting Mèdecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in their important work throughout the world. In this short video you can see some of the activities MSF has achieved last year.

Where necessary, we set up sanitation systems, supply safe drinking water, and distribute relief to assist survival.”
